Date and Time:
Monday, November 15, 2010 - 15:00 to 17:00
The Review, written by Professor Andy Dobson (Keele University), focuses on the role of environmental citizenship in promoting the adoption of pro-environmental behaviour. The report considers definitions of environmental citizenship, the value of citizenship-based approaches compared to attempts to ‘nudge’ citizens, and the policy opportunities for encouraging environmental citizenship.

The launch included a presentation of the review’s key findings by Professor Andy Dobson, with responses from Sara Eppel (Head of Sustainable Products and Consumers, Defra) and Trewin Restorick (Director, Global Action Plan), and followed by a wider question and answer session.
